Completions Designer II in GAC St. Louis
Unique Skills:
Proficiency with Autocad, CATIA, and SmartTeam preferred.

This role requires a flexible and highly dynamic design engineer that can rapidly pivot designs to reflect changing customer requirements while maintaining a Lean design and manufacturing philosophy.
Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's Degree Drafting, Design Engineering or related curriculum or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 3 years aircraft experience or 6 years general Engineering CAD experience. Proficient in operating CAD equipment.
Position Purpose :
Create design drawings for manufacturing of aircraft parts, assemblies, and installations working from customer specifications and instructions. Ensure that activities are in line with internal/external customers, FAA requirements, and Gulfstream processes to achieve department objectives.

Essential Functions:
Conduct research for information on existing drawings, hardware, vendor parts, etc. relating to job task.Evaluate customer requirements and provide recommendations related to the design.Identify problems and provide solutions to designs.Coordinate design work with other departments, engineers, and designers as required. in order to complete in a timely manner.Evaluate customer requirements and provide recommendations related to the design and FAR compliance.
Additional Functions:
Enforce safety rules and procedures. .Ensure application of all Gulfstream regulations and policies. .
Perform other duties as assigned.
