$5,000 Sign On and Retention Incentive

Alternative Response Team-Clinician FT position$3000 at sign-on, $1000 at 2 years, and $1000 at 3 years

Position Summary: Clinician - Alternative Response Team (ART)- Advantage Behavioral Health

This position will work within the Alternative Response Team (ART). ART is designed to provide a response to non-violent crisis calls where the assistance requested is outside the scope of services provided by law enforcement. This teamwill respond to calls referred to them for specified non-emergency behavioral health issues routed through the 911 center. The clinician will work alongside an EMT and Peer Specialist while responding to calls.The clinician will provide community-based interventions and assessments of individuals who are having behavioral health-related issues.

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday (10:00am-6:30pm)

Key Job Responsibilities:Completes crisis assessments to determine risks and needs.Assists in "warm hand" offs to the Treatment Facilities and other resourcesInterprets and communicates relevant information to families, and treatment providers/partners.Provides supportive counseling and education to individuals and/or families who call for assistanceProvides outreach and crisis follow-upAssists individuals in locating and utilizing community resources including legal, medical, financial assistance, and other referral servicesCollaborates with Homeless Street Outreach Team and Co-Responder TeamsDocuments and tracks data from calls/contacts daily.Other duties as assignedQualifications

Minimum Training and Experience Required to Provide Services: Clinician - Alternative Response Team (ART)- Advantage Behavioral Health

Master's degree in social work, professional counseling, psychology or a related field.Full Licensure (LPC,LCSW) and/or certification in the State of Georgia in one or more counseling or social work fieldsExperience in Crisis and/or Mobile Crisis work
