Job Description:As a Fire Protection/Plumbing Designer at Selectek, you will play a key role in designing sprinkler layout and plumbing systems for a wide range of exciting projects. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the safety and efficiency of critical infrastructure across various sectors. The successful candidate must have at least 5 plus years of experience in Fire Protection and Plumbing design and possess a passion for excellence in their work.“Applicants for this position must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for sponsorshipâ€Responsibilities:
Develop innovative and code-compliant sprinkler layout and plumbing designs.Perform detailed plumbing and fire protection calculations and document them thoroughly.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional designs that meet and exceed client expectations, budget, and timelines.Demonstrate exceptional time management skills to meet project deadlines and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.Participate in on-site project visits and facility audits to ensure the seamless integration of designs into real-world settings.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or an associate degree in Drafting or Equivalent work experience is preferred.Proficiency in using Revit for design and documentation.Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey ideas and collaborate with team members and clients.A track record of delivering high-quality fire protection and plumbing designs.Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience working in Government, Higher Education, Corporate, or Religious projects.Previous involvement in delivering successful designs within budget and timelines.A creative and innovative approach to problem-solving.A strong commitment to staying updated with the latest industry trends and advancements.
Hourly Pay:
$33.65/hr. - $43.27/hr.
Shift and Hours:
Monday- Friday8 AM- 5 PMWork from home (Flexible)
