Job Summary:
The Lead Technician will head up cleaning and packout crews both in the field and in the warehouse. They will communicate the scope of the project to the team and make sure the necessary materials and equipment are available to get the job done.
Responsibilities:
Ensure that inventory software is properly utilized for tracking the transfer and storage of all contentsDuring the packout
On-site point of contact for the customer (policy holder)Capturing an accurate inventory of contentsProperly documenting all aspects of the packoutEnsuring contents, including furniture, valuable and delicate items, are properly protected, labeled, and inventoried for transfer to warehouse
At the warehouse
Oversee contents cleaning, deodorizing, drying, and restorationEnsure proper tracking and storing of contents in vaults
Work with the estimator to develop accurate and timely estimatesTrack usage of packing and cleaning supplies and ensure a proper inventory is maintainedEnsure that all work is completed in accordance the schedule and with company standards
Qualifications:
A desire to serve your community and be a team playerExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesA willingness to work in challenging conditions (like in a home that has had a fire)Valid driver's license and a clean driving recordAre caring, patient, and compassionate. Have a genuine desire to make a difference in your client's lives2+ years of experience in contents restoration is a plusFamiliarity with iCat inventory software a plus
