Job Title: Mechanical Piping Designer

Job Location: Salt Lake City, UT (Onsite Position Monday - Friday)

Job Duration: 6+ months contract, possible long-term

Pay range: $40-$50/hr DOE

Job Responsibilities:

Design and draft redlines of: P&IDs, PFDs, 3D Models, Piping Plans & Elevations,

Piping Layouts and Isometrics, Civil/Structural & Electrical drawings.

Perform field walk-downs of piping & instrument diagrams (P&IDs), capturing differences between drawings and in-field conditions.

Confirm drawings against in-field conditions.

Promote quality product within design group.

Communicate current work load and estimate time for creating drawings.

Key member of project design team, works closely with checker and project managers.

Some travel required.

Job Requirements:

5+ years related experience of Mechanical and/or Piping Drafting and Design Experience.

Experience with Industrial and/or Oil & Gas/Refinery projects is a plus.

Organized, ability to keep project files and correspondence current.

Ideal candidate will thrive in a high-energy environment.

Competency in the following software program required:

AutoCAD 2010+
