Summary:Work closely with the Manager of Design & Brand Strategies (MDBS) on developing and maintaining the integrity of the Rosen Brand on all design projects. Contribute to all design projects assigned by MDBS.Responsibilities:Collaborate with the project team to deliver projects on schedule.Deliverables include but are not limited to image research, mood boards, presentations, finish palettes, and illustrating the design in 2D and 3D as needed.Help maintain administrative requirements.Produce and develop project schedules, coordinate technical drawings, which include contract document sets, FF&E/A specifications, material schedules, and budgets.Perform construction administration services including RFI responses, submittal reviews, field reports, and punch list reviews, where applicable.Work closely with the design team to promote a culture of design excellence and creativity.Participate in coordination with consultants, vendors and contractors.Other job-related duties as assigned.Core Competencies/Additional Information:Excellent teamwork skills, and ability to work collaboratively.Great communication and interpersonal skills, and a willingness to adapt to the daily needs of the design team.Passion for design and an eye for detail.Organized and structured.Functional Competencies:Knowledge of the full design process including concept, schematic, design development, construction documentation, construction, administration, procurement, and installation.Proficiency in interior design concepts such as space planning, furniture and material selections, product research, and detailing.Solid understanding of drawing sets, Interior Finish specifications, and FF&E specifications.Proficiencies in Microsoft Office suite, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, REVIT, and SketchUp.Great knowledge of products and industry sources.Experience with the following project types: hospitality (hotels and food & beverage) and high-end commercial.Have a clear understanding of, and stay up to date on building, ADA, and OSHA codes/requirements/guidelines.Experience with all phases from design concept through construction administration.Required : Architecture or Interior Design Degree from an accredited school and/or background.Must be able to provide own transportation to various job sites.Preferred:
