Selectek is looking for a Senior Truss Designer with a strong background with Floor and Roof Truss design. ÂJob Summary:This job order is for the senior level Truss designer with 10- 15 plus years of experience designing Floor and Roof Truss for commercial and multi family buildings. They us Alpine. The candidates have to be proficient in Alpine software.ÂRequired Experience:
10+ years’ experience in wood truss design for commercial and multi-family projects.ÂExperience with Alpine Design Software is preferable but not required.ÂKnowledge of Engineered Wood Products (EWP)Wall Panel design experience is a plus but not necessaryMust be willing to work in-house in our Nashville locationHas experience as design manager or is interested in becoming a design manager within the next few years. (We have a guy that I’ve worked with for almost 40 years. He’s 65 now and I don’t know how much longer he’ll work but I’d guess at least 2-3 more years. He is our design manager and can keep the position as long as he wants. But, we definitely need someone ready to step in the moment he retires.)Must be a team player and able to work well with others.  Attitude is everything!Â
