Mechanical Drafter/Designer

Selectek has an immediate need to hire a Mechanical Designer/Drafter for a temp-to-perm position in the suburbs north of Atlanta, GA.Job DetailsCandidates will create and review designs in SolidWorks and AutoCAD. This firm specializes in drive-thru structures, awnings, and menu boards for quick-service restaurants, so work in this role will focus on those types of structures. These designs will include production drawings (detail and assembly) and multi-view drawings of the final manufactured product.Required1-5 years of experience in sheet metal designProficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCADAbility to make design decisions and interpret architectural drawingsMechanical aptitude with the ability to complete mathematical calculationsKnowledge of manufacturing machines, design practices, and building materialsCompensation$24.00-$33.00 per hour based on experience, before permanent conversion.ScheduleMonday-Friday, flexible on start/end times.For more information on this full-time opportunity, please call Joey Fairbanks directly at 470-203-9530.
