The Senior Civil Designer works as part of a dynamic team of designers and engineers responsible for civil design, including geometry, grading, hydrology/hydraulics, utility coordination and the preparation of construction drawings for the site/area development of an individual facility/attraction, land, or theme park project!You Will

Prepare civil construction documents for site/area development projects of medium complexityOrganize comprehensive civil construction drawing packages in accordance with department and division standardsEnsure technical quality and conformance with industry standards and Imagineering master specifications, department standards, and proceduresMonitor progress of work and ensure that technical quality, interdisciplinary coordination and production requirements are metAssist in developing soft cost design estimates for civil design and draftingWork independently with minimum supervision, demonstrating an ability to thrive in a highly collaborative, multi-discipline project team environment.Provide technical guidance to one or more junior civil designers in the production of construction contract documentsYou Will Have

Graduate of an accredited school with an associate degree, technical certification in civil design or graduate of a non-accredited engineering school6 or more years of work experience in the production and use of civil engineering contract documents for commercial or industrial projectsKnowledge of current technology in a facilities design discipline including the preparation of construction contract documentsProficient in the use of Civil 3D for civil engineering design, production, and analysisWorking knowledge of grading and utility coordination including industry practices, construction methods and materials, codes, current technology and the preparation and use of contract documents in all phases of design and constructionAdditional Information

The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidates geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
