The Marketing Communications Specialist is responsible for planning and producing innovative content and PR initiatives to raise brand awareness and foster brand engagement - both internally and externally - working in close collaboration with other marketing, communications and sales team members. Their duties include researching insightful content and PR opportunities reaching out to various audiences, publishing them on diversified channels, and recording results.

Your day will look like this:

Act as a business partner for assigned US Sales Departments and US Human Resources Leadership.Plan and coordinate relevant communications that support the assigned business units.Develop strategies and storytelling to support the growth of the Solotech brand in the US.Manage communications and speaking engagements related to events and partnerships within the assigned business units.Ensure the production (incl. copywriting) of case studies, social media posts, articles, etc.Ensure all internal and external communications are cohesive with the brand's image and identity.Manage media relations for assigned projects, including outreach and incoming inquiries, press releases, talking points, and presentations.Grow brand awareness by actively seeking more media opportunities for the company (features in articles or podcasts, speaking engagements, etc.).Support internal communication initiatives.Support environment, social and governance (ESG) internal and external initiatives.Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Your profile:

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or equivalentLess than 2 years of B2B experience as a communications specialistDemonstrable experience in marketing data analytics and toolsThorough understanding of PR and communications elements (including media relations, press releases, social media posts, web news, internal memos, etc.)Good knowledge of marketing and communications software (Social media platforms)Knowledge of analytics tools is an asset)Working knowledge of Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Outlook)Outstanding writing skills.Planning skills and experience in managing PR initiatives with small teams.Ability to support internal client needs and act proactively.Commercial awareness partnered with a creative mind.Ability to work independently and within a team.Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently.Good organizational skills and attention to detail.Physical Requirements:
