Position Summary...What you'll do...**Senior Executive Assistant, Communications**This position is responsible for supporting and being a partner to Walmart's Chief Communications Officer (CCO). The individual in this position will be expected to perform additional job related responsibilities and duties as assigned and/or as necessary.**Essential Functions**Provides exceptional administrative support, always with confidentiality, poise and composure. Understands the pace and role of communications at Walmart such that you can serve as a trusted partner and idea contributor while anticipating unspoken needs.Proactively and strategically manages calendar and email to ensure deadlines are met, time is spent adequately and productively. Manages appointments and understands calendar needs, priorities, preferences, and business impacts; anticipates and identifies time requirements for pre-meeting work, meetings, events, and sudden changes; monitors and maintains calendars and the use of meeting rooms or facilities; and utilizes business knowledge to filter and prioritize requests and identify key attendees.Fosters internal relationships (senior leaders, administrative team across the company, etc) and external relationships, including high-level contacts, to effectively help the CCO nurture a people-led tech-powered team that meaningfully contributes to Walmart's business goals while also being a great place to work where everyone feels they belong. Builds a broad knowledge of the business, function and partners by working and collaborating with internal and external resources.Contributes to the future vision of Global Communications at Walmart.
