The Amazon Shipping team is looking for an innovative Senior Marketing Automation Manager to take on the unique opportunity to shape and own the marketing tech stack, including our automated email framework, defining and implementing global practices in our Marketing Automation platform.

We are seeking a data-driven, organized and passionate individual, who can dive deep to improve process efficiency and solve problems for global stakeholders. A proven track record in taking on end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment is strongly preferred.

You are the ideal candidate if you can:

Work at both the strategic and tactical level to champion bold, innovative automation and reporting

Gather detailed business requirements in collaboration with internal stakeholders (marketing, tech teams, etc.) and collaborate closely to deliver global solutions

Leverage automation to improve processes and productivity, and make recommendations to support an organisation scaling at rapid pace

Manage multiple projects gracefully and balancing contending priorities in a rapidly changing environment

Key job responsibilities

Define and implement the Marketo tooling roadmap to scale practices internationally, launch new features, suggest new investments

Partner with our global Marketing teams to identify email automation and targeting opportunities in order to reduce the manual, administrative requirements in emailing

Perform technical project management of the email marketing development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design/development, testing, configuration, and advanced administration.

Own and maintain the system/data integrity of our Marketo instance

Plan and build scalable reporting mechanisms for Marketo data source and propose relevant Marketing metrics within the digital marketing lead lifecycle

Establish global governance model for customer outreach via the Marketing Automation techstack

Be the Marketing Automation liaison to legal on email compliance

Develop standardized processes and programs that allow marketing team members to self-serve in the creation of complex, multi-stage automated marketing programs

Define business requirements (working closely with field marketing operations teams, product management, and the analytics and strategy team), and verify / localize products to ensure customer experience working across global marketing teams for implementation of new

Contribute to the annual operation plan discussion, Quarterly business reviews, monthly internal team updates, and ad-hoc field presentations

Basic Qualifications

5+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

Experience communicating results to senior leadership

Experience with Marketo, or similar email platforms

Experience with Salesforce and Tableau

Preferred Qualifications

Experience creating and executing integrated marketing lead generation campaigns using tactics that include live or virtual events, webinars, email, lead nurture programs, and CRM/sales insights

Experience building and formatting web pages and email templates

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $112,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $186,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
