The opportunity

The Adobe Design Content Strategy (ADCS) team-a mighty group of content strategists, content designers, and UX writers focused on in-product user experience - is looking for a Senior Content Strategist to join the team!

We use our expertise in language and communication to shape experiences across Adobe products and services. Our work ranges from content strategy and in-product, UX writing to developing standards and guidelines for Spectrum, our design system, and beyond.

This role reports into the Director of Content Strategy in Adobe Design, and is an individual contributor role with opportunities to mentor people and lead initiatives.

What you'll do

In this role, you'll embed with the

Document Cloud team , which focuses on

document management products like PDF and Acrobat . We're at an exciting inflection point, especially as we embark on a future with

AI and chatbots

and further

integrations with Adobe Express and other products .

As a content strategist supporting Document Cloud, you'll:Embed with and serve as a core member of the Document Cloud design teamCollaborate closely with designers, researchers, product managers, engineers, lawyers, marketers, and other teammates and partnersBring clarity, consistency, and quality to the way we design for our users across products and surfacesChampion an inclusive, accessible, user-focused perspective, while also considering business needs and prioritiesDevelop strategies and standards on how Document Cloud uses language, and how it works with other apps across the Adobe ecosystemMentor and teach content strategists and teammates in other disciplinesWhat you need to succeed

Must-haves

A proven track record for developing a content strategy, and tactically writing and designing toward that strategyExperience with content strategy or content design efforts on a team within a large, diverse organizationExperience leading content efforts with cross-functional stakeholders and collaboratorsExtraordinary writing and communication skills, and a sharp attention to detailAbility to present and sell your ideas, create coalition, and build supportStrong systems thinking and the ability to practice content design across a sophisticated, interconnected product ecosystemExperience with collaborating in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Illustrator, Photoshop, Keynote, or SketchKnowledge of inclusive, accessible content practices4+ years of experience in content strategy, content design, UX writing, information architecture, or a related fieldNice-to-haves

Experience with AI and/or chatbots, or an interest in leaning into this spaceExperience with, and a point of view on, document managementKnowledge of localization and internationalizationExperience in working in a large organization with a diverse set of offerings and customersExperience working on a highly visible brand or a legacy product offering

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $112,000 -- $214,100 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
