YOUR FUTURE TEAM
As part of the executive director's office, you would support management of the agency's day-to-day operations.
This position is a member of our External Relations Division.

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING...
• Coordinate the development of web content, ensuring alignment with TCEQ goals and objectives.
• Participate in maintaining the agency's web information architecture for user-friendly navigation.
• Collaborate on content strategy, integrating new content while adhering to accessibility and agency standards.
• Conduct usability research, assessments, and testing of webpages and application interfaces, preparing reports with actionable recommendations.
• Deliver presentations on usability findings to various levels of staff.
• Edit web content using plain-language techniques, maintaining completeness and intended meaning.
• Contribute to the evolution of web standards, guidelines, and training programs for staff education.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
• A bachelor's degree with a major in journalism, public relations, advertising, communications, English, or a natural resources or science related field , plus three years of full-time experience in writing, scripting, editing, related areas in communications, or in positions involving such activities as journalism, outreach, public relations, advertising, preparation of public information releases and reports, and other news materials, or performing related activities in a public or private enterprise.
OR
• Four years of full-time experience in writing, scripting, editing, related areas in communications, or in positions involving such activities as journalism, outreach, public relations, advertising, preparation of public information releases and reports, and other news materials, or performing related activities in a public or private enterprise.
TRANSCRIPTS / COLLEGE HOURS or COURSE WORK
