Job Description:Summary:As a UX researcher in Reality Labs, candidate will have the opportunity to partner with a diverse set of stakeholders in ideating, building and launching brand new products.Research is paramount to this organization's success - formative research is needed to identify the right underserved needs or problems in the world to tackle with product solutions, iterative design research is needed to mold early product ideas into testable prototypes, and evaluative research is needed to improve and tune those products for market.Job Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with researchers, designers, PMs & engineers to identify, define and deliver meaningful products into the worldCollaboratively develop and execute research roadmapsLead various research studies throughout all the phases of the product development cycleContribute to product strategy and executionSkills:

Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.Strong ability to work independently and manage one's time.Experience with qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis to inform product and design decisionsExperience with storytelling to get traction with various audienceExperience with autonomy and decision making to balance demandsEducation/Experience:

BA/BS in a human behavior related field, such as human-computer interaction, psychology, sociology, communication, information science, media studies, computer science, or economics100% onsite in SeattleSupplemental (rather than leading)Execution, rolling research program- working independently but not forging new relationships with XFN.5 to 7 years (more or less depending skills)Interview - work with researcher to vet, average 2 conversations.Top 3 must-have HARD skills:

Helped execute rolling research projects.Worked with dog fooding and fish fooding.Not ethnography but lab based - data and metrics.Good to have skills:

Wearables would be bonus.communications, presence, streaming, gaming/ entertainment, and systems: having worked in software in any of those areas.consumer softwareStory Behind the Need - Business Group & Key Projects:

Pay Range: $65++ hourly

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
