And you can, too.In this role, you will be the primary Communications point of contact for the Quality leadership team and trusted advisor to the vice president of Quality. As the business partner, you will create, drive, and oversee strategic, integrated communications plans to ensure message alignment in support of functional and business priorities. Secondarily, you will provide strategic communications support to the vice president of Strategy & Planning and help promote key initiatives for that function.

In this role, you will be responsible for the following:

Serve as a trusted communications advisor to the vice president of Quality as they prepare for employee engagement events, key leadership messages to their function, announcements to the business, and more.Develop and execute integrated communications plans intended to engage and inform employees about strategic Quality initiatives.Write articles about Quality team milestones and accomplishments for our company website, intranet site, social media and Pulse Magazine.Serve as the Executive communication’s team subject matter expert on the Quality function.Help craft and promote strategic messages and innovation stories from the Strategy & Planning function.Partner with other functional, business area, and sector communications team members on strategic internal campaigns.Develop and track metrics in support of the function’s and organization’s communication objectives.Assist in communications for other functions as needed.Look for ways to consistently elevate employee communications by bringing the outside to best align our organization with best-in-class practices.Report to the Director of Executive Communications and be a key member of the Executive Communications team in BAE Systems’ Electronic Systems sector.Ensure all functional communication adheres to corporate branding and identity guidelines.Be a steward of the organization’s culture and uphold the ES Communications Operating PrinciplesRequired Education, Experience, & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in either Communications, Journalism, English or Marketing plus 5-8 years of related communications experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).Strong writing and verbal communications skills.Strong presentation skills and executive presence.Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to build strong relationships and work effectively in a matrixed organization.In-depth knowledge of modern communications tactics, media, procedures, and concepts.Ability to simultaneously initiate, prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Strong relationship building, negotiation, time management and influencing skills.Established business acumen.Demonstrated track record of leading enterprise-level communications programs.Ability to identify, assess, understand, and make appropriate recommendations to meet business needs.Problem solving skills, with specific focus on developing new, creative ways to drive communications in a changing business environment.Proficiency in all MS Office programs. M365 experience a plus.

Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $96470 - $164010

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
