About You:

You are a self-starter capable of planning, managing, and prioritizing projects with minimal supervision

How You Will Make An Impact:

The Marketing Coordinator is primarily responsible for creating and administering content on all social media platforms across multiple brands. This position also assists with other projects that support the organization's overall marketing initiatives. This is an in-person role and candidate will be working out of our Chesapeake or Norfolk office, depending on preference.

Manage social media execution including posting, monitoring, and responding to comments on all company social media sites

Monitor all company brand mentions and reviews and maintain company business listings

Generate video and photography to support initiatives across all brands and maintain digital asset library

Maintain and update sales content, including menu item updates on external sites

Manage workflow of routine marketing deliverables (ordering stickers and labels, printing of various marketing collateral, etc.)

Assist with executing all outbound email campaigns, as directed by business teams

Help with other marketing projects and corporate events as needed

What You Bring to the Table:

1+ years of experience in a marketing or similar role (including internships)

Bachelor's degree in marketing, graphic design, photography, communications or related field (or comparable experience)

Demonstrated ability to take professional looking photography a must

Experience working with multiple social media platforms a must

Proficiency in Office 365 (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign highly preferred

Experience with CRM systems such as HubSpot, Mailchimp, or Salesforce a plus

Experience with marketing operations / project management technology (CODA, ASANA, etc) a plus

Must be able to travel to Richmond and occasionally Charlottesville approximately 2-4 times a month (day trips and possibly overnight)

Starting salary of $50-55k a year, depending on experience
