Get hands-on experience with state-of-the-art educational tools and technology!The Marketing Director is responsible for the strategic marketing direction and brand expression. As the leader of the Marketing department, the director is responsible for growing our Education brand credibility; aligning marketing strategies and projects with long-term market goals; and driving marketing innovation through consumer insights and relevant brand experiences. This is accomplished by developing and maintaining a strategic marketing and communications framework through which a team of marketing professionals can operate and overseeing all marketing projects and plans.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

Translating business strategy into actionable marketing strategies and brand objectivesFacilitating the creation of marketing plans driven by long-term strategy insights and knowledgeHiring, developing, and managing others in the marketing organizationSupporting and facilitating the development and execution of the annual marketing plan with knowledge of:Market and educator insightsCost and price constraintsEstablishing and maintaining mid- and long-term priorities for the Marketing departmentDeveloping and disseminating the our brand framework to the marketing managers for implementationManaging and working closely with Sales to establish and maintain strategies and objectives for all K-12 customer groupsManaging and working closely with the Marketing team in achieving marketing tactics for the domestic and international marketsCollaborating closely with Sales and Customer Relations to guide all markets to implement the brand and communications platformDeveloping and administering the annual marketing budgetEstablishing business cases for new products and developing business plansCreating marketing materials and writing copy for marketing materialsEnsuring the implementation of marketing best practicesQualifications/Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field, or equivalent professional experienceMinimum of 10 years' experience in marketing communicationsMinimum of five years' experience in people managementKnowledge of education industry preferredExperience in brand development and managementKnowledge of and experience in all marketing disciplinesDemonstrable creativity and creative problem-solving skillsExcellent writer with strong verbal communication skillsStrong organizational and time-management skillsAbility to harmonize long-term vision with short-term goals and objectivesComputer skills, specifically the Microsoft Office suiteFlexible, results-oriented, proactive, self-motivated individual with a positive attitudeGeneral office environmentAbility to be physically mobile with reasonable accommodation including ability to walk, balance, kneel, crouch, reach, stand, and stoopMarketing Director, Education
