BioLegend (a division of Revvity, Inc.) is seeking a Front-End Web Developer with experience in designing and developing UI for web applications/websites using the responsive design approach. The ideal candidate will be part of our Design and Digital Experience Team, responsible for maintaining and innovating the company website, BioLegend.com.Translate business needs into innovative web pages that are visually attractive while adhering to UX and UI standards to expand our website's influence in the industry.Provide proactive solutions, identifying and addressing problems independently.Deliver sustainable solutions using new technologies and best practices.Guide the team on new technologies and solutions.Resolve browser compatibility issues and ensure mobile view optimization.Multitask and manage different challenging/interesting projects based on priorities.Essential Functions
Create and support the BioLegend website, including site design and development, maintenance, updates, and optimization.A strong awareness of UX design principles and best practices, including wire-framing and user-flowsCollaborate and communicate effectively with fellow designers, web developers, content writers and project owners to deliver page designs on point and on timeRequired Skills
Proficient in CSS, HTML5, Typescript, JavaScriptExperience with content management systems, particularly Drupal.Proven knowledge of front-end web development practices.Minimum Qualifications
3-5 years relevant development work experienceStrong communication and teamwork skillsProven knowledge of front-end web development best practicesPreferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in a related fieldUX/UI development experience including knowledge in responsive design and mobile-first design philosophyPHP, React, Bootstrap, JQuery familiarityThe base salary range for this full-time position is $72,000-$80,000/year. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this position. The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account internal equity, work location, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
Please note that base pay is only one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This range allows for the successful candidate to have an opportunity to progress within the position and develop at our company. This base pay range does not take into account bonuses, equity, or other benefits which may be applicable and are dependent on the level and position offered.
