About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity to join a high performing team where you will take a new product to market including designing the product UI, defining user journeys, prototyping, working with product and engineering, testing, and executing a flawless launch to market. You'll also further your knowledge about the entertainment business at large. As a very early member of the team, you will be up close and personal with all aspects of planning, launching, and scaling this business.

This is a position for a product design leader who has led product UI/UX strategy and design starting, has designed and launched multiple apps/products where you have collaborated closely with scrum teams, and integrated changes based on customer feedback.

Day-to-Day:

Partnering with the Heads of Product and Marketing, take ownership of, define, and evolve the UI/UX for the entire product experience across all formats of app design and web platformsTranslate high level requirements into fully articulated user experiences from wireframes to high-fidelity mockups to prototypesCollaborate closely with engineering teams, product, and internal stakeholders in an agile mannerManage your workload to ensure that engineering is provided with designs by required deadlinesReview and approve final engineering deliverables to ensure a high quality barUtilize prototypes (pre-launch) and live features (post-launch) to test, analyze data, and make product improvement and experience design recommendations based on data and consumer insightsInfluence the roadmap and product development to drive company value based on insights and empathyThoroughly and completely understand our user base and product space through user feedback, competitive analysis, and industry reportsManage workload, output quality, and budgeting for a handful of contractors and other external resources as neededQualifications:

8-10 years of UI/UX product design experience across CTV/Mobile apps and web5+ years experience in designing for entertainment development and the related customer-facing features/experience in a scalable design systemCan understand business goals and translate into design requirementsRespect for and understanding of the The Wonder Project audienceHave built prototypes for initial concept validation and external user testingSelf-sufficient with minimal oversight, but not afraid to ask questionsFigma proficiency for designing, prototyping, and creating design systemsStrong history of deep collaboration, communication, and relationship building company-wide at all levels from engineering teams to leadership to key partners with both engineering and marketing teamsHistory of generating positive, productive work environmentsImpeccable personal and business ethicsNo visa sponsorship required

Salary & Term:

Salary: $11,000-14,000/month

6-month contract
