As a key member of the Executive Committee, the Director of Sales and Marketing (DOSM) will be creative, energetic and a knowledgeable professional who will be fundamental to the on-going success of the resorts.

Reporting to the Managing Director of Enchantment Resort, the (DOSM) has overall responsibility for: leading the sales efforts of Enchantment Resort and Mii amo to achieve or exceed all hotel revenue goals; and to collaborate with the Enchantment Group Home Office marketing team to ensure programs in all marketing disciplines are maximized and effective.

Education, Experience, Skills

4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 10 years’ experience in the sales and marketing or related professional area.Previous experience as Director of Sales & Marketing for a destination luxury hotel/resort at the 4 to 5 star levelResults oriented with a proven track record in driving RevPARExcellent verbal and written English language skillsTime management / organizational skillsStrong understanding of booking pace, rate yielding, managing mix of businessComputer Skills including: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Delphi, Springer Miller, SitecoreMulti-property and HOA experience is a plusAbility to travel and work flexible hours and daysSummary of Core Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for all functions of Group and Leisure sales for Enchantment Resort and Mii amo, including managing each property's reactive and proactive sales efforts and providing day to day leadership to sales and event managers to achieve all hotel sales objectives and deliver all annual property goals and revenues.

Develops annual sales plan / budget for Enchantment Resort and Mii amo, including Group and Leisure sales goals and strategies to ensure delivery of annual financial performance goalsMonitors sales team activities and holds team members accountable to expectations, including outbound prospecting, inbound inquiries, written communication, site inspections, outside calls and account maintenanceMonitors performance of sales team by appraising, coaching and counseling, including training as neededEnsures responsible Group contracts and agreements while managing risk to the properties within these agreements, including proper turn-over to Conference ServicesExecute the sales strategy for Guest Rooms, Food & Beverage and Events to ensure individual goals are met or exceededCoach leaders of revenue generating departments in developing effective revenue strategies and setting aggressive goals that will drive the property's financial performanceEnsure the development of a strategic account plan for the demand generators in the marketResearch competitor's sales team strategies to identify ways to grow occupancy and RevPAR and increase market shareFacilitate sales strategy meetings to provide and solicit team input weeklyReview the STAR report, competitive shopping reports and uses other resources to maintain an awareness of the hotel's market positionServe as property authority on sales processes and sales contractsParticipate in sales calls with members of the Sales and Marketing team to acquire new business and/or close on businessEvaluate and support partnership participation and deployment (ie. Virtuoso)Oversee and manage all incoming Group requests and provide leadership in contract negotiations. Ensure proper contract execution.Collaborate with Enchantment Group owners and board of directors as requested.Perform other job duties as assignedLeadership Responsibility and Marketing Support

Support the implementation of the resorts’ service strategiesSupport brand initiatives in all aspects of the marketing process which focus on building long-term guest relationshipsEvaluate each property’s participation in various sales channels and develop strong working relationships to proactively position and market the propertyCollaborate with the Home Office marketing team to develop an annual marketing plan / budget for both propertiesDay to day management of the sales and marketing budget to enable development of property specific campaigns, promotions and collateral to drive revenue and meet property objectivesCollaborate with the Home Office marketing team on the development of marketing communication activities via social media, email, digital / print advertisingDay to day Website content managementSuggest innovative marketing ideas and sales strategies for continued growth within market shareDevelop strong community relations by ensuring property participation in local, regional and national tradeshows and client eventsUpdate annual crisis communication plan for both propertiesDevelop and implement hotel-wide strategies that deliver products and services to meet or exceed the needs and expectations of the brand's target guest profile and provide a return on investment to the ownerPerform other job duties as assignedPhysical Requirements
