About the Position

Do you love to write and have a passion to understand how search engines work? If so, this position is perfect for you. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, optimizing, and managing high-quality content that improves our search engine rankings, rank for undiscovered key terms, and drives organic traffic to our website. This role requires a blend of creativity, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of SEO best practices.

What You’ll Do:

Write high-quality, informative, and engaging blog posts (priority), website copy, landing pages, and other content formats.Conduct keyword research to identify relevant keywords and search terms.Update content calendars and editorial plans aligned with SEO best practices and seasonal calendars.Optimize existing website content for target keywords and search engines, including meta tags, URLS, and other on-page elements to enhance search engine visibility.Analyze website traffic and user behavior.Stay up-to-date on the latest SEO trends and algorithms.Collaborate with product merchants and buyers for alignment on products and services.Utilize SEO tools (such as MozPro, STAT, Keywords Everywhere) and analytics platforms to monitor and optimize website performance to meet business goals.Help identify content gaps across our properties and execute on the creation of content to fill the gaps.Who We’re Looking For:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, or a related field.Proven experience as an SEO Content Specialist or similar role.Strong understanding of SEO principles, keyword research, and search engine algorithms.Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, etc.Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.Ability to create engaging and informative content tailored to different target audiences.Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress.Effective communication and collaboration skills.While not mandatory an understanding of golf and baseball.
