About the Role The Sr. Manager of Organic Social & Influencer Marketing is responsible for supporting the development and execution of all Social and Influencer Marketing strategy and activations for Banana Republic. Reporting to the Director, Organic Social & Influencer, you will work closely with the team to establish and refine Banana Republic’s social and influencer marketing and engagement strategies and will be responsible for managing the day-to-day execution of our calendar, campaigns and one-off events and experiential activations. As an internal expert on Social and Influencer Marketing, you will keep abreast of trends and opportunities that can grow the impact of Banana Republic’s social-first marketing approach, making suggestions to help further our brand reach and impact. In this role, you will also closely track Banana Republic brand and social campaigns to identify and address both opportunities and challenges as they arise. What You'll Do

Develop content and messaging strategies for Banana Republic’s social media and influencer campaigns, translating brand goals, objectives, and KPIs into social-first, brand-aligned content and messaging

Work closely with Director, leadership, PR team, and external agencies to develop social and influencer campaigns, strategies and talent lists for seasonal programs, store openings, experiential activations and brand priorities, inclusive of priority talent

Lead briefing and onboarding of influencers for all Banana Republic campaigns, in partnership with cross-functional, brand marketing, creative and PR teams and aligning with brand goals and priorities

Liaise with Gap Inc.’s centralized Influencer team to ensure timely and effective execution of Influencer process, inclusive of contracting, gifting, legal, and payment

Develop reporting and content organization systems to track campaign metrics, creative and data, and track metrics for Banana Republic social and influencer partnerships, partnering cross-functionally and calling out opportunities to optimize partners and use of social-first creative based on performance relative to campaign objectives

Conduct ongoing research and due diligence to identify new social-first and experiential content opportunities, influencer partners, channels, and audiences that will deliver exceptional value to Banana Republic and vet influencers for brand safety

Proactively identify high-performing Influencer content and opportunities to amplify content for additional impact to business and marketing objectives

Continually track influencer outputs, identifying and proactively mitigating any risks to brand safety and suitability and quickly involving additional stakeholders when necessary

Who You Are

8+ years marketing experience with 5+ years experience

in social and influencer marketing

3+ years of experience managing teams, with a proven track record of collaborative leadership, team building, and managing individual contributors

Extensive experience managing social and influencer marketing, inclusive of influencer management, social-first content, and brand messaging for a clothing/retail brand

Experience in a highly complex, matrixed organization with a proven track record of working cross-functionally to drive change

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and drive consensus across multiple teams and functions

Change agent and motivator, with the ability to build bottoms-up teams and approaches, and foster positive culture change at Gap

Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to work through ambiguity, transform enterprise-wide ways of working, and infuse strategic thinking across levels
