Content might include technical blog posts, reference architectures, product demos, videos, workshops, tutorials, best practice guides, and webinars / livestreams.

By the 12-month mark, you should be able to demonstrate at least a 10%-20% increase in site traffic and conversions based on the execution of your strategy.

We know from experience that not ticking every box on the skills sections stops many from applying. Please apply regardless of your self-assessment -- we want to hear from you! We have seen people succeed with a diverse range of skills and experiences.

Desired Skills & Experience

Evidence of increasing site traffic, leads, and conversions in a prior technical marketing, product marketing, sales engineering, or developer relations role (or a related field), preferably in a startup or high-growth environment (or a related field)

Prior experience marketing to a developer audience and an understanding of how developers work

While our products are built for enterprise use, we know it is the day-to-day practitioners (DevOps, security engineers, developers) who evaluate our software, and they need access to great technical documentation and content. We aren’t interested in pursuing traditional enterprise marketing approaches (nor do we think they will work well).

A track record of and comfort level with demoing in higher-pressure environments (e.g., analyst and customer calls; industry conferences)

Video creation and basic video editing skills, using your editing platform of choice

At least one example of technical content (a blog post, a demo, etc) that you’ve created in the past

Prior experience in the cybersecurity or application security industry

Some familiarity with programming languages is desired

Minder is written in Go, and our policy templates are written in YAML and Rego. Minder supports languages including Python, Go, and JavaScript. A basic understanding of one or more of these languages will help you more effectively write technical documentation, code samples for tutorials, and other content.
