What You Will Do :·
Serve as a trusted advisor to healthcare executives – supporting them in developing responding to external stakeholders·
Manage significant client engagements and day-to-day relationships·
Creating, editing, and collaborating presentations, talking points, responses to inquiries, reports, and other products needed for external stakeholders·
Assist with preparation for hearings, briefings, and other events were clients are engaged·
Regularly engage with executives and staff to collaboratively create strategies that will inform external stakeholders·
Create and maintain tracking tools and techniques to ensure timely engagement with external stakeholders·
Regularly engage with staff from various communications offices on content, tactics, and strategy·
Regularly engage with clients involved with logistics of external engagements·
Regularly engage with the Guidehouse subject matter experts on a variety of healthcare topics·
Actively support business development activities to help identify, research, and pursue opportunities for new/existing clients·
Keep current on healthcare industry trends to inform clients on leading practices
What You Will Need :·
Ability to translate technical information and data into a story that is visually appealing and able to capture and persuade a variety of audiences utilizing Powerpoint·
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree·
3-5+ years of previous work experience in a consulting firm, on capital hill, or in a communications or congressional affairs role·
Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality deliverables under stressful conditions·
Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels of business, including experience writing reports and client/public-facing documents as well as effectively communicating complex concepts
What Would Be Nice To Have :·
Military Veteran·
Experience working in or consulting with the Department of Veterans Affairs or Military Health System·
Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and develop successful professional relationships with key internal and external stakeholders·
Ability to create clear and compelling presentations for clients on complex topics·
Unmatched organizational skills in a dynamic environment·
Demonstrated passion for improving healthcare·
Master’s Degree
