The Salvation Army Hawaiian and Pacific Islands Division is seeking a dedicated Marketing and Communications Director (MCD) to champion our mission and elevate our impact in the community. Reporting directly to the Divisional Director of Development, the MCD will spearhead strategic marketing initiatives, ensuring cohesive messaging and maximum outreach across all channels. This role demands a visionary leader with a blend of creativity, strategic acumen, and strong communication skills.

The ideal candidate minimally holds a bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred) and boasts at least 5 years of related work experience. Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant software is essential. They must possess a proven track record in community and public relations, maintaining the highest level of integrity and confidentiality. This individual should thrive in a collaborative environment, balancing entrepreneurial spirit with a commitment to teamwork.

Key responsibilities include developing and executing annual marketing plans, overseeing social media and digital marketing efforts, and managing PR initiatives to generate earned media. The MCD will also coordinate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure consistency in branding and messaging. Graphic design skills are a plus, as the candidate will guide the creation of visually compelling marketing collateral.

In addition to strategic planning, the MCD will actively engage with the community. They will monitor market trends, analyze data to measure program effectiveness, and manage budgets to ensure fiscal responsibility.

Annual Salary range from $70,000 - $80,000
