The Data Visualization Specialist performs various tasks associated with designing and developing data visualizations including providing visualization solutions to inform senior leader decision making and translating complex statistics so users and clients can easily understand analytic results. Collaborates with colleagues and leadership to provide a clear and intuitive approach to big data analytics through the development of informative and professional dashboards and apps. Performs transformation of vast data sets into digestible visuals, designs easy-to-understand graphic representations of data sets, and compiles data to create reports for all levels of the organization. Demonstrated ability to produce visualizations to communicate findings using tables and charts. Proficient with business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Qlik, or PowerBI.

Must have:

At least 5 years of experience in data visualization and analyticsAt least 5 years of experience and demonstrated proficiency using business intelligence tools like Tableau, Qlik, and Power BIAt least 4 years of experience analyzing data to develop compelling and easy to understand visualizationsAt least 3 years of experience developing Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) pipelines to include:

Identifying query requirements to support visualization end goalsCleaning and transforming multiple data reports to accommodate analysis needsModeling and loading resultant data reports

Familiarization with visualization best practices and how to apply them to complex messagingAbility to communicate results efficiently and effectively to all levels of an organizationBachelor of Science Degree in Data Science, Math, Economics, Business Analytics or other related technical degreeA secret security clearanceNice to have:
