With primary manufacturer lines such as MillerKnoll (furniture) and DIRTT (architectural walls), along with 200+ other manufacturers, Bialek creates inspiring workplaces across various industries.

About You:

We are searching for an experienced, energetic, and creative Interior Designer.

The Designer will use a combination of education, experience, and creativity, as well as knowledge of commercial, government, and healthcare facilities, to specify and develop layouts for medium and large furniture and interiors projects for our government clients.

Responsibilities

:Coordinates, organizes and leads design teams for medium to large scale projectsDevelops documents for conformance with design concepts and construction administration activitiesPlan, schedule and direct the development of interior project requirementsDelivering client presentationsWorks closely with Bialek Government Account Managers to provide stellar service to our clientsPerforms specific project interior design, space planning, and development tasks including drawings, calculations, cost estimates and FF&E specificationsServe as client's point of contact for questions, comments, and requestsProvides client with feedback and follow-upReviews and understand drawings/concepts prepared by othersParticipates in meetings and activitiesPerforms as a team-playerReads, responds, and develops FF&E bids and responsesQualifications:

BS/BA Degree required from a FIDER/CIDA accredited programExcellent organizational and communication skills requiredDemonstrated ability to multitask and manage several projects at one timeAuto CAD and CET experience preferredRevit experience helpful1-5 years systems furniture/space planning experience requiredStrong knowledge of the architectural design processNCIDQ Certification is a plusLEED Certification helpfulStrong work ethic and leadership qualities

Physical Demands:

This position requires long times of sitting, standing, walking, must be able to drive to client locations.
