The Prime Video ROW marketing group is seeking a Head of Marketing Operations to help scale our work for Prime Video, which will include developing our programs and best-practices around all marketing activities. In this role, you will be focused on streamlining programs for marketing materials of all types and finding new and innovative ways to continue to raise the bar for our customers. You will lead a team who supports program rollouts, product launches, creating documentation, SOPs, playbooks and more for the Prime Video International team.

This arm of the team is responsible for significantly complex marketing initiatives with broad cross-organizational and/ or significant business impact. Their team’s work focuses on efforts that solve complex or endemic problems. This includes managing marketing ops initiatives that span 8 organizations and 7+ geographies to drive standardization in processes, improve efficiencies, and enable scaling across languages, countries, business lines, and content slates. The team negotiates and prioritizes resources for large-scale projects and technological solutions across our regional teams, finance, and global leadership. They drive organizational changes to enable local teams to remove dependencies and/or eliminate inefficiencies to accelerate our speed of delivery, increase scale, and drive impact for our customers. The team is looked to as process experts, regularly facilitating regional trainings, office hours, and change management. They are a strong advocate and partner to global teams, where they bring a regional point of view to global decisions. They work closely with counterparts in EMEA, US, and APAC to rollout process improvements globally and with product and tech teams to ensure LATCANZ marketing priorities are included on roadmaps, serving as LATCANZ lead for many tech initiatives. The core functions of the team include, 1) campaign operations, 2) asset management, 3) localization, and 4) tooling and tech.

Key job responsibilities

• Liase between Global Marketing Team, Regional Ops Teams, Studios Production, US Marketing and Regional Country Teams to define joint goals and priorities

• Help expand projects that serve the needs of our regional team, understand their needs and work with central teams to meet them.

• Manage the LATCANZ Mkt. Ops Team and oversee project and program performance across the different roles

• Lead strategic initiatives that improve process and cost efficiency

• Architect scalable practices that can serve Prime Video marketing teams worldwide.

• Develop goals and bench marks across our Mkt Ops programs

• Think big, invent and simplify to enhance and expand use of existing tools; evaluates new tools and technologies for future development

Basic Qualifications

6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

Experience communicating results to senior leadership

Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Salesforce and Tableau

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $112,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $186,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
