Strategic Communications Officer

to join our team and support an up-tempo, creative environment for an Intelligence Community (IC) customer located in

Your responsibilities will include the following:Supporting on-demand publications, digital graphic designs, and any relevant media requested by the customerCompiling slideshows or other digital mediaCreating promotional and digital marketing materials and content for internal and external stakeholdersSupporting the creation of graphics for conferences, forums, and public displaysDrafting and reviewing communications products, including paper pamphlets and periodic newslettersReviewing communications plans and editing communications productsCollecting, editing, and authoring articles for periodic Sponsor newslettersCreating captions and transcripts for communications products that adhere to digital accessibility requirementsProactively pitching ideas for written products that support and enhance the customer's mission and brand*All candidates will be required to provide writing and/or product samples prior to an interview. *

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI with PolygraphMinimum eight (8) years of experience within the last ten (10) yearsB.S. or B.A. degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, and/or equivalent degree or experienceStrong written and oral communications skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks with competing prioritiesExcellent writing and editing skillsExperience working with graphic designers and/or working in a creative environment
