Summary:

This company has three divisions, each manufacturing extensive portfolios of parts for the industrial equipment industry. Sales are to original equipment manufacturers (OEM) and through Distribution networks. The Sales and Marketing Leader will guide our team in achieving strategic goals and driving revenue growth through OEM and Distribution channels. We seek a candidate with a strong sales and marketing leadership background and deep knowledge of target selling, share-of-wallet strategies, CRM utilization, relationship building, lead nurturing, and integrated marketing within OEM and Distribution networks.

Responsibilities:

Strategy Development and Execution:

Create and implement sales and marketing strategies tailored to OEM and Distribution channels, focusing on high-potential OEM partners and distributors to maximize revenue opportunities.Share-of-Wallet Strategies:

Develop and apply strategies to increase customer retention and expand market presence with existing partners, ensuring greater business share.CRM Optimization:

Utilize and optimize CRM systems to track partner interactions, manage pipelines, and generate actionable insights for strategic decision-making.Relationship Building:

Foster strong relationships with key OEM partners, distributors, and industry stakeholders to drive partner loyalty, identify new opportunities, and enhance competitive positioning.Lead Nurturing:

Lead integrated lead nurturing initiatives across OEM and Distribution channels to cultivate prospects throughout the sales cycle, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience.Prioritization of Efforts:

Apply the 80/20 rule to prioritize sales and marketing efforts, resources, and investments, focusing on activities that yield the highest return on investment.Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with product development, customer success, and marketing teams to align sales and marketing strategies with overall business objectives and drive integrated growth initiatives.Team Mentorship:

Provide guidance and support to the sales and marketing teams, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Marketing Campaigns:

Develop and execute marketing campaigns and collateral tailored to OEM and Distribution channels to support sales objectives, drive partner engagement, and generate qualified leads.Performance Monitoring:

Monitor sales and marketing performance metrics, analyze trends, and identify areas for improvement, implementing corrective actions and best practices to optimize effectiveness.Requirements:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in business, engineering, marketing, or a related field.Minimum of 10 years of industrial equipment sales and leadership experience with proven success in growing sales volume.Ability to travel 50% of the time, occasionally more.
