Coast is re-imagining the trillion-dollar U.S. B2B card payments infrastructure, with a focus on the country's 500,000 commercial fleets, 40 million commercial vehicles, and many million commercial drivers. Our customers operate HVAC, plumbing, pest control, construction, or luxury transportation businesses. The incumbent technologies that cater to them are decades old, and drivers and fleets increasingly demand modern digital experiences and affordable and transparent financial services products. Coast's mission is to deliver them at a transformational scale, beginning with the Coast Fleet and Fuel Card built on a cutting-edge spend management platform.

The opportunity

As an early member of the marketing team, you'll have the ability to have a sizable impact and work closely with all teams at Coast. You'll work on all aspects of the product marketing function, from research to GTM strategy, enablement and content creation. You'll become an expert in the product, our customers and our problem space to help us drive demand and boost product adoption with our prospects and customers.

Responsibilities

Product Launches

- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies and messaging for new and existing product features, targeting specific buyer personas and use cases to drive growth, adoption and customer value.Content Creation

- Create compelling product marketing collateral for prospects and customers, such as website pages, emails, blog posts, or videos.Lifecycle Marketing

- Create and execute lifecycle marketing campaigns to improve conversion, onboarding, activation and adoption.Sales enablement

- Equip the sales and customer success teams with effective customer-facing materials (including one-pagers, sales decks, and videos), and internal guides.Partner Enablement

- Create and execute partner activation strategies and playbooks.Events Marketing

- Coordinate our tradeshow strategy, including managing pre-show, post-show, and onsite activations, procuring supplies, and measuring ROI.Requirements

2+ years of experience as a B2B product marketer, ideally at an early-stage, fast-paced startup. Experience at a fintech or payments company is a plus.Experience crafting GTM strategies, product positioning, and messaging.Excellent copywriting and storytelling skills to create content that resonates with the Coast audience.Strong empathy for our customers. You understand their needs and want to solve their pains.Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with all teams at Coast, including product, sales, customer success, or legal.A hands-on mindset, ability to take initiative, drive progress and work autonomously.Compensation

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of our total compensation package that also includes benefits, signing bonus, and equity. Pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including scope and qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to other Coast employees. We expect the majority of the candidates who are offered roles at Coast to fall healthily within the range based on these factors.

Salary range: $120,000 - $150,000 annuallySigning bonusEquity grant: commensurate with level determined at the discretion of the company, with meaningful potential upside given the company's early stageBenefits overview:
