About this Role
Agility Partners is seeking a qualified UX Designer to fill an open position with a Fortune 500 retailer in the Columbus area. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and shape the user experience for a mobile-first web product team. The UX Designer will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams, creating engaging product experiences, and communicating design direction. They will also play a pivotal role in mentoring junior designers and fostering a highly collaborative design process.Responsibilities:Collaborate with cross-functional teams for a seamless design process.Create user-centric experience maps, scenarios, comps, and flows.Design user experiences from low to high fidelity, iterating with rapid prototypes.Develop innovative design processes and approaches.Communicate design considerations and principles to various stakeholders.Mentor and guide junior designers for a collaborative design process.Present work to cross-functional teams and leadership.Execute design practices within Agile software development.Coordinate project teams and maintain a product backlog aligned with business goals.Benefits and Perks

Qualifications:Established practice leader with a strong track record.Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate complex ideas.8+ years of hands-on experience in UX design.Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.Expertise in a heavily cross-functional environment.Previous experience as a Lead UX Designer on an agile product team.Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end code frameworks.Experience designing native mobile apps.Experience in e-commerce.Working knowledge of design research methodologies.Share this job.
