Position Overview

Christensen Arms is seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist based in Irving, Texas. This position will work in tandem with the Gunnison, Utah-based Christensen Arms team.

This role reports to the Director of Marketing and is a dream for anyone who desires to work for a culture-driven brand with deep roots and a dedication to innovation.

The Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for managing and increasing the effectiveness of Christensen’s critical digital marketing levers, including our e-commerce store, email marketing, SEO, social media, loyalty initiatives, and more.

The Digital Marketing Specialist will work closely with key internal stakeholders and strategic external partners to keep our world-class brand on its powerful growth trajectory.

Essential Job Functions

Own Christensen’s critical digital marketing levers, including our e-commerce store,

email marketing, SEO, loyalty initiatives, and more

Contribute to the growth of our owned audiences

Manage all email marketing initiatives, including creation and optimization of email campaigns and automated flows in Klaviyo

Influence e-commerce purchases, both from new and repeat customers

Analyze our customer LTV and make informed marketing decisions based on data

Consistently improve the customer journey and optimize conversion rate through close collaboration with the design and development teams

Maintain and improve our website’s organic visibility through SEO enhancements

Support the Director of Marketing in the creation and execution of multi-channel marketing strategies (e-mail, social media, paid media, events, promotions, influencer marketing, etc.) to acquire new customers and delight existing customers

Support the Director of Marketing in the setting of the roadmap and delivery of new features on the eCommerce websites and creation of strategies to drive and convert traffic in order to maximize revenue against commercial targets

Maintain a strong market knowledge of sector rivals and trends to influence the delivery of the best and most profitable offering on the websites

Be the subject matter expert for all growth marketing activities

Attend events and trade shows, as needed, to provide marketing support

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience

2+ years of experience in Firearms / Military Products / Tactical Industry / Outdoor Industry (or be able to present why your experience is applicable to Christensen Arms)

Preference given to candidates with experience in the firearms industry

4+ Years of experience in a Digital Marketing role, with hands-on experience

Strong knowledge of SEO best practices and strategies

Experience with WordPress and WooCommerce is ideal, although experience with similar e-commerce platforms like BigCommerce is highly applicable

Experience with e-mail marketing platforms like Klaviyo or MailChimp is critical
