WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Senior Content Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role within our product delivery teams, leading the creation and delivery of learning and assessment content across the Innovative Learning and Assessment Solutions team. You will be empowered and accountable for maintaining alignment between content development and product goals, as well as with the product line’s strategic vision. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the content's journey from inception to market release, planning and executing the annual content build plan, and ensuring that learning and assessment products meet our customer needs.

WHERE YOU’LL WORK

This position will work a hybrid schedule from our Leawood, KS or Burlington, MA office locations preferred. Remote will be considered within the United States.

HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME

Lead the development of annual enterprise content build plan and operate as owner once plan is set.Drive clear communication and alignment of content build plan execution into product delivery team and broader governance team.Own overall KPIs tied to build plan.Effectively share risks, mitigations, and tradeoff options to cross-functional stakeholders across the product development lifecycle.Drive the end-to-end details, definition, and commitment of content priorities across the content organization.Build strong relationships across technical product, business product, and business content strategy to ensure alignment and transparent communication and updates ultimately leading to successful delivery.Act as a key voice in identifying and implementing workflow, status tracking, and communication improvements across the content organization.Provide clear and up-to-date documentation to support ongoing improvement and implementation of workflows out to the broader organization.Evaluate content needs by surveying target customers, analyzing competing products, and evaluating peer review feedback.Partner closely with product line managers and business content strategists to support ongoing customer outreach.Utilize feedback through customer feedback channels to improve content quality and customer satisfaction.WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Bachelor’s degree in business administration or relevant work experience required.Minimum 5 years of experience in project management or product management required.Education or healthcare product management experience preferred.Experience working in an agile environment preferred.Strong project management skills, including ability to manage deadlines, prioritize product requirements, and identify issues and mitigate/manage risks.PMP certification preferredDemonstrated ability to source and develop content that meets market needs and quality standards.Demonstrated thoughtful, strategic, and customer-focused decision making.Demonstrated success with end-to-end accountability for timely release of products.Consistently open-minded, diplomatic, and flexible in navigating content development roadblocks.Operationally minded, with deep expertise in content development.Ability to lead key stakeholders and participate in teams with a high degree of functional diversity.Cross-functional leader that will participate in product delivery teams and represent content function end to end.BENEFITS
