Overview

Integral to the marketing team, this role assists with firmwide business development, marketing and public relations initiatives. The individual ready to embrace the role must be a highly motivated, self-starter with experience in proposal production, key messaging and story development across all communications. Responsibilities include identifying and qualifying leads, preparing proposals and presentations for prospective clients, updating and maintaining the CRM system and leading all marketing efforts for the studio. The role will be based in our Houston, TX studio.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties | Responsibilities:Collaborates with project teams and leads the planning and production of firm qualifications packages, requests for proposals and qualifications, presentations, and interviewsWorks with Principals and other key individuals to assist in the development and implementation of strategic marketing plansUpdates and maintains templates for proposals, qualifications packages, cutsheets, resumes and PowerPoint presentationsPrepares the graphics and layout for required marketing materials as neededDelivers quality management best practices for all communication materials both inside/outside the firmProcures and qualifies short and long-term leads for various target audiencesConducts research on industry and market trends to support firm officesDevelops and maintains a network of corporate, industry, municipal, and community contacts to keep abreast of industry, client, and competitor activitySystems and Processes

Updates and manages all office marketing and business development opportunities using CRM software, including report generationMonitors the opportunities and tracks leads through the sales cycleMaintains system to regularly update staff on status of leads, potential projects and hit ratios.Implements best practices of quality management for all internal and external communicationsQualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or communications or a related fieldMinimum of 1-3 years previous experience preparing written and visual promotional materials and/ or marketing proposals in the A/E/C industry preferredProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.Experience with Deltek or other CRM software is strongly desired.Excellent verbal and written communications skills including editing and proofing.Graphic design and layout skills required.Excellent time management skills. Must be comfortable in a deadline-driven role with the ability to manage projects in a fast-paced, team environment.Ability to communicate and present ideas in an organized, efficient and effective manner that results in clear understanding and action.Critical thinker with attention to detail.One who can lead others in developing a strategy and then assume responsibility for its management and implementation.Demonstrated desire for continuous learning and obtaining professional certifications.Proficient social media skills.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $55,000-$63,000. You can continue grow your pay by qualifying for annual pay-for-performance merit increases, discretionary bonus payouts based on the firm's profitability and professional advancement awards.
