About the team:The Global Talent Development team helps fuel TikTok Shop's growth worldwide. We are change agents who enable rapid expansion and bar-raising performance at scale. With colleagues located across the globe, we balance providing targeted support with broad, holistic solutions that inspire creativity across the employee lifecycle.

The Talent Experience Designer will start by helping us build digital solutions to support employee development needs across the employee journey. Over time, they will also help us explore and leverage new and emerging technology and techniques to continuously maximize our impact through a growing portfolio of digital experiences.A veritable wunderkind, the ideal candidate has both the technical skillset to create custom learning experiences and a strong eye for design and aesthetics. Obsessed with delivering a world-class user experience (UX), the Talent Experience Designer is never satisfied with the status quo and constantly seeks opportunities to optimize digital experiences to drive the desired result. As the team's expert on the development of high-impact digital experiences, you enjoy collaborating and consulting with non-technical stakeholders and partners as you take the lead in designing and building highly intuitive, cohesive, and scalable experiences. Self-driven with a high degree of ownership and initiative, you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are great at balancing speed and quality.This role is unique in that you would be the first design technologist on a team of talent strategists and business partners. This gives you an exciting opportunity to have a significant influence on our strategy and product portfolio as we seek to deliver a next generation learning experience for our employees-but also means you must thrive on operating as a resourceful 'jack of all trades' who directly owns end-to-end development for the near-term.
Responsibilities1. 1. Build compelling and responsive learning experiences for a global user base, leveraging a range of technologies, platforms, and/or techniques.2. Collaborate with key partners and stakeholders to define UX vision for learning experiences, informed by user research and data.3. Develop product roadmap; prioritize features based on user-data and key partner input.4. Provide reliable workback plans for launch and release.5. Provide post-launch support: monitor product performance, inspect user experience, analyze and address defects, conduct routine maintenance as required, etc.
Qualifications
Minimun Qualifications1. 5+ years experience developing scalable digital experiences that delight users.2. Track record of successfully designing, developing, and delivering production-quality learning experiences for web and/or mobile.3. Expert user of common learning authoring applications (e.g., Articulate 360/Rise/Storyline; Adobe Captivate; Camtasia, etc).4. Proficient with multimedia design and relevant applications (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite [Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign,Premier Pro, etc]).5. Demonstrated ability to iterate on products or resolve product issues based on efficient analysis of user behavior or other metrics.6. Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication. Ability to clearly communicate complex and/or technical concepts to a global audience with varying levels of technical understanding.
Preferred Qualifications:1. 1. 2+ years experience in user experience design or user interaction design.2. 5+ years experience in front-end web technologies and trends (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Node).3. 5+ years experience building digital solutions in HR, learning, or talent function.4. Experience in developing front-end software, with deep experience in one or more relevant front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Thyme Leaf, JQuery etc).5. Proficient in multiple web or native rendering software technologies (e.g., JavaScript, CSS, HTML, C#, Java, Objective-C, Swift, etc) and design approaches.6. Current on technology trends and development techniques (e.g., web: mobile, desktop; native: iOS, Android, ReactNative). Demonstrated ability to choose and adapt techniques for target use cases.
