Job Description
Support the objectives of Tanner Health System by assisting in the execution of internal and external communication, design projects, campaigns and by establishing and implementing presentations and formats that reflect the image and standards of the system set by Administration and the Marketing Department. The designer's work is split between print and web interactive mediums. The designer is responsible for creating and executing design concepts as well as maintaining visual appearance, usability and brand continuity. Areas of work may include: branding, graphics, communications, interaction, trend research, social media, video, photography, web and environmental design for print media or digital delivery. Responsible for Tanner's online presence, including interactive apps, websites, microsites, social media and special campaigns.
EducationBachelor's Degree
ExperienceFour years of related experience. Requires broad knowledge of complex systems and procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum of four years of graphic design or related experience with a command of the software programs under the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Capability with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).- Ability to work within design templates, graphic styles and color palettes while adhering to Corporate Brand Identity Guidelines
- Strong knowledge of print production and pre-press.- Video and photo art direction a plus.
- Strong understanding of web and social media design, including user experience, browser usability, social media platforms and cross-platform compatibility.
- Must be able to work closely with others and function as a team member and have the ability to analyze and prioritize workloads and to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with HTML, CSS. Knowledge of JavaScript, PHP and other program languages. Content management software experience a must.
- Degree in graphic design or related field with ongoing education to keep up to date on all relevant computer programs and trends.
- Prefer six years job related experience.
