Job Summary:

Reporting to the Solutions Marketing Leader, the Equipment Product Marketing Manager is responsible for strategy and execution of the marketing and commercialization of products, solutions and initiatives for the $3B+ Residential HVAC business within Trane Technologies.

We seek to fill this new role with a motivated and enthusiastic marketing manager with a proven track record for leveraging strategic insights and analytics to unlock transformational impact for new product development. The Equipment Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing plans to support the success of both the Premium and Value HVAC product lines. This person will collaborate closely with product management from inception to launch employing marketing strategies to reach targeted audiences.

This role is responsible for developing strong value propositions across the portfolio and developing marketing plans that deliver sustainable growth.

This position requires a focus on driving outcomes, excellent cross-functional collaboration, communication and influencing skills and will partner closely with teammates in marketing, product management and sales. An ideal candidate will be known for big ideas, but is grounded in data, real market insights and measurable results. This individual will play a crucial role in positioning our products the right way to the right buyers leading to higher revenue capture and increased market share

Note: This position would ideally work a hybrid schedule near one of our Trane Technologies offices in Davidson, NC, Tyler, TX, or Minneapolis, MN.

However, a strongly qualified candidate living outside of a commutable distance from these locations could be considered.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with product management team throughout product development process to develop integrated marketing strategies to deliver on business growth goals

Develop and execute marketing strategies and plans that are aligned to the integrated marketing plan and strategic business goals to drive increased revenue for products and systems

Commercialization—Ensure market activation and strong value proposition development of products and offerings through the value chain.

Measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing executions tied to business results, new product introductions, and account-level performance via established metrics and dashboards

Lead optimization of product marketing plans by analyzing programs and recommend year-over-year improvement to plans

Monitor and understand competitors offering and positioning including product, placement, messaging, and digital strategies

Cultivate strong relationships within marketing, customer experience, product management, sales, partners, and other areas of the organization

Help to represent the voice of the product management around marketing to the organization

Qualifications:

Minimum 7-10 years of integrated marketing experience

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or similar; MBA preferred.

Exceptional people and communication skills, creativity and team leadership

Knowledge of marketing strategy and execution in a complex (matrix) business environment

Experience in working within traditional product development processes

Deep understanding of marketing and adoption metrics

A track record of delivering outstanding tangible results in a high performance environment

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or similar

Up to 30% Travel within the US

Base Pay Range

: $92,000-122,000+. Total compensation for this role will include an incentive plan. Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
