Psychiatrist, Anchorage, AK

We are currently seeking a qualified Psychiatrist for a 3-month role (extensions possible) in Anchorage, AK. As part of the treatment team, the Psychiatrist will coordinate with other team members to ensure accurate diagnoses and prompt, safe, and effective treatment for patients. RESPONSIBILITIES: Conduct psychiatric evaluations and treatment plans. Assess emotional, social, cognitive, developmental, or behavioral disorders. Prescribe and administer medication, conduct individual and group psychotherapy, and collaborating with courts and correctional facilities. Provide emergency medical care, when necessary, prepare thorough admission assessments and discharge summaries, and share on-call duties.
