The Data Visualization Lead will be working with raw data and building visualization dashboards in Tableau. The incumbent will need to have strong hand-on experience in Tableau and an understanding of visualization concepts and manipulating data. Must be able to design custom visualization within Tableau.

Applies deep subject-matter or functional expertise and industry solution knowledge to research, analyze, design, and/or maintain data sources in information systems in support of projects, information needs, and changing requirements.

Performs analysis, validation and interpretation of reporting outputs. Recommends business actions to business leaders based on interpreted findings of the analyzed business reports.

Executes data and report validations to support ongoing quality assurance processes.

Develops business requirements for new reporting capabilities.

Accountable for on-time and budget delivery of the portfolio initiatives in collaboration with business and technology partners.

Applies in-depth knowledge within own professional discipline and a foundational understanding of concepts and principles of other related professional disciplines. Applies knowledge of best practices derived from experience and external networking to solve a range of complex technical and operational problems.

Takes a new perspective on existing solutions to solve complex problems. Exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information. Explains and interprets complex, difficult, or sensitive information.

Leads small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements; plays significant roles in larger, more complex initiatives. Impacts a range of client, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams.

Oversee workflow, solve problems, coach, mentor, assist with interview and performance input. May supervise contractor-only teams or work efforts.

Bachelor's degree and seven to ten years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

In-depth knowledge of principles, practices, theories, and/or methodologies associated with the professional discipline (e.g., information technology, project management, finance, risk management, etc.).

Understands foundational concepts of other related professional disciplines. Experience managing small projects.

Ability to interpret and explain complex information to a range of audiences and build consensus among different stakeholders. Ability to provide direction and mentor less experienced teammates.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree or MBA and ten years of related experience.

Tableau Certification a huge plus

Must have hands-on experience with Tableau and dashboard/metrics design and development.

Must have hands-on experience handling large amounts of data and turning that into meaningful metrics and dashboards.

Must have hands-on experience with heavy and complex ETL processes.

Hands-on experience in transforming raw/flat data from System of Record (SOR) and using it via Tableau to generate dashboards.

Must have hands-on experience manipulating large data sets and creating custom data models within Tableau or outside the visualization tools.

Must have strong communication skills by working with technology delivery team leads to gather dashboard requirements.
