Senior Digital Marketing Coordinator , you will play a pivotal role in guiding and overseeing the execution and optimization of our event digital marketing initiatives to achieve our commercial objectives. You will help to grow our event customer databases, nurture leads, and increase conversions. You will be a leader within the Digital Marketing team and establish standards and best practices to ensure the team's success. Partnering closely with our digital and brand/commercial teams, you will gain insights into our tech stack and audiences, collaborate on digital initiatives, interpret performance data, and make data-driven recommendations to enhance campaign effectiveness.How you'll make an impact:Execution & OptimizationOversee the design, execution, and optimization of web and email campaigns to maximize engagement, lead generation, and conversions.Establish and enforce standards and best practices for web and email campaigns and segmentation, ensuring consistency and excellence across all portfolios.Ensure website content is accurate, up-to-date, and optimized for SEO, user experience, and brand alignment.Take ownership of assigned tasks and projects, striving for excellence in execution while meeting established deadlines and brand guidelines.Develop proficiency in email and web marketing channels to enhance campaigns and meet commercial goals.Perform list segmentation and audience analysis to improve targeting and engagement for email campaigns.Analyze and interpret performance data to provide strategic recommendations for enhancing campaign effectiveness and achieving commercial goals.Utilize analytics and testing methodologies to continuously improve campaign performance and ROI.Monitor email and website performance metrics and user behavior to identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement.Utilize testing and analytics to provide data-driven insights for enhancing performance and driving conversions.Adapt marketing strategies based on analytics, customer feedback, and industry trends, while implementing new tools for improved efficiency.Collaboration & InnovationDevelop strong partnerships and work closely with fellow Digital Marketing Coordinators to ensure seamless support for all brands, including assisting team members with their brands during peak periods.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including brand marketers, data analysts, and commercial partners, to enhance data-driven marketing strategies.Demonstrate curiosity and adaptability to learn about products, customers, and technologies to foster innovation and challenge the status quo.Drive innovation by staying current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital marketing.Serve as a brand and product advocate for email and web, aligning with brand goals and sharing best practices through ongoing education.Management & LeadershipSupervise and mentor a small group of Digital Marketing Coordinators, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback to foster their growth and development.Lead by example and take full responsibility for ideas, actions and problem solving.Ensure the team has all necessary tools to perform the job effectively.Identify training needs for the team and carry out training as required.Participate in team meetings, share insights and best practices, and foster a collaborative environment to brainstorm and implement innovative solutions.The skills & experience you'll need:3+ years of experience in digital marketing, preferably in a B2B environment.Experience managing direct reports.Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Content Management Systems, marketing automation tools, SEO tools, etc.) – Pardot, WordPress, ASP a plus!Basic HTML coding experience for email.Solid understanding of SEO & SEM and UI/UX standards across all devices, platforms, and email providers.Strong understanding of user experience (UX) principles and strategies, user-centric research, design and testing, and mapping content and experiences against target persona.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven recommendations.Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with commercial and cross-functional teams.Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for optimization and innovation.Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results.Eager to learn and implement new testing methodologies and strategies to drive continuous improvement.Who is Clarion?Clarion Events North America, which is the US division of Clarion Events UK, and backed by The Blackstone Group has become one of the fastest-growing event companies in the United States, with aggressive growth through both acquisition and launch.
