Established in 2023, New Carrot Company, operating under the name Bolthouse Fresh Foods, is headquartered in the California Central Valley community of Bakersfield. Specializing in carrot production, the company caters to both retail and food service operations and is renowned for its Bolthouse Farms brand, widely distributed in major retailers across the United States and Canada.

Bolthouse Fresh Foods is a subsidiary of Butterfly Equity, a Los Angeles-based private equity firm with a specialty in the food sector. Butterfly Equity's expertise spans the entire food value chain, from 'seed to fork,' with a focus on agriculture & aquaculture, food & beverage products, food distribution, and foodservice.

WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IN THIS ROLE

Bolthouse Fresh Foods, rooted in 1915®, is seeking a dynamic and versatile Marketing Manager. We are looking for a versatile professional who is willing to strategize, create, and be actively involved with our dynamic team. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and executing strategic marketing plans to attract potential customers and retain existing ones. This role involves market research, product development, promotional campaigns, maintaining the overall brand image of the company, and supporting corporate communications. Additionally, the Marketing Manager will plan and manage events and engagements that drive brand awareness and support B2B and community initiatives.

Build Brand Awareness:

Develop and execute marketing plans and strategies that align with Bolthouse Fresh Foods business objectives.Oversee the development and implementation of the company's brand strategy.Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all marketing channels.Develop and implement engagement strategies to foster strong relationships and goodwill in the community.Support corporate communications efforts, including drafting internal communications, and external announcements.Collaborate with the communications team to ensure consistent messaging and branding.Develop and maintain corporate marketing assets, including presentations, corporate collateral, and promotional materials.Ensure all assets are up-to-date and align with the company's branding and messaging standards.Manage the company's website and ensure it is optimized for user experience and search engines.Increase Sales/Sales Support:

Conduct market research to identify opportunities, market trends, customer needs, and competitive analysis.Develop go-to-market strategies for new products, including pricing, positioning, and promotion.Conduct product lifecycle analysis and recommend adjustments to marketing strategiesCollaborate with product development teams for product launches supporting innovation samples and communication.Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and manage replenishment as neededSupport the development of marketing collateral to promote sales initiatives and supportUtilize analytics tools to monitor website traffic, engagement, and conversion rates.Work closely with sales, product development, and other departments to align marketingOrganize and manage the fulfillment of all event assets and sales materials.Coordinate the distribution of materials to external locations, ensuring timely delivery and accurate tracking.Events and Engagements:

Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful event execution.Plan, coordinate, and execute various events, including trade shows, conferences, and customer engagement activities.Manage event budgets, timelines, and logistics.Plan, coordinate, and execute community participation to foster a strong company image and partner in headquarters and areas of business.Develop community engagement strategies and objectives that align with company goals.Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful event execution.Manage event budgets, timelines, and logistics.Analyze engagement metrics and feedback to improve future initiativeBudget and Team Management:

Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring all activities are cost-effective and within budget.Allocate resources and manage marketing expenditures effectively.Lead and manage a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.Foster a collaborative and creative work environment to drive innovation and high performance.WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.5-7 years of experience in marketing, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing strategies.Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Proficiency in Adobe Suite skills (Photoshop, InDesign)Required Skills and Abilities:

Strategic thinking and planning skills.Strong leadership and team management skills.Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.Strong understanding of market research and data analysis.Proficiency in marketing software and tools (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM systems).Preferred Qualifications:
