Data Visualization Specialist
for a 6-month
CONTRACT
assignment with possibility for extention with one of our premier
Manufacturing
clients in
Redford, MI
.Responsible for collaborating with the business analysts to develop business requirements and translating requirements into a technical solutionnalyze and defines tasks, data flows, and dependenciesDevelop and maintain advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards and other BI solutionsResponsible for identifying and communicating design and scope issues to the stakeholdersConduct design reviews and oversee QA functions for the information delivery applications, including ensuring that system and integration test plans are developed and executedCreate other technical deliverable artifacts needed for dashboard implementationDevelop and delivers knowledge transfer to the rest of the DIAA teamRequirements
2-3 years of experience developing Data Visualization solutions using TableauExcellent client interaction, problem solving & communication skillsUnderstanding of data modeling techniquesExperience working with relational databases (DB2, SQL Server) is requiredExperience using Tableau, standard reports and ad-hoc reportsExperience working with multiple disparate data sources in TableauExperience with advanced Tableau topics such as complex calculations, table calculations, parameters, geographic mapping, and performance optimizationFamiliar with Data Visualization best practicesStrong experience writing complex SQLHS Diploma or Equivalent required
