Crenshaw Communications, a Mod Op company, is seeking an experienced leader to join our dynamic B2B technology team. This is an opportunity to work with well-known B2B tech companies in industries like adtech, martech, sales tech, and artificial intelligence (AI).

In this role, you'll be a key part of the team, leading client communication, diving strategy and working together with a team to secure media coverage on behalf of clients.

Responsibilities

Develop relationships with clients, providing guidance and driving strategic directionAct as a source of knowledge on the ad tech industry, supporting team members and clientsBuild relationships with media and proactively pitch targeted outlets, including broadcast, print and new mediaWork collaboratively with team members to develop and implement successful PR campaignsOversee the development of media materials, including press kits, press releases, media alerts, fact sheets, bios, case studies and backgroundersLead in brainstorming sessions to develop strategic/creative thinking for clientsMentor team members: aid in upskilling with respect to key PR strategies and tactics, including but not limited to, media relations, thought leadership and executive visibility, and awards and speaking programsMaintain 1-4 direct reports, assist in the development of goals, deliver annual reports and regular check-insAssist in the research and development of new business proposalsRequirements

Preferred Qualifications

8+ years of prior work experience in PR, including agency experienceExperience working at or on behalf of an adtech brand, securing coverage with national, business and trade mediaStrong understanding of the PR process, the news media landscape, and what 'makes' a storyB2B PR background with knowledge of corporate PR and crisis managementExperience measuring the ROI of communications activitiesA passion for storytelling and proven track record of securing earned media coverageDeadline-driven with the ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneouslySuperior people and communication skills, both verbal and writtenStrong organizational and time management skillsTeam player who works well under pressureThrives in an environment of flexibility and changeAbility to demonstrate creativity and innovative thinkingAbility to build relationships internally and externally, interfacing at all levelsWe understand how the confidence gap and imposter syndrome can get in the way of meeting awesome candidates, so please don't hesitate to apply - we'd love to hear from you.

Salary Range: $125,000 - $150,000
