Resilience offers insurance coverage through its licensed and appointed insurance agents and security services through its expert security team.The Principal Product Designer is a high-level, individual contributor role. They will apply “fullstack” design services, including research, strategy, UX, and visual design, to the software products and service experiences that make up the Resilience solution. Our solution offers a next-generation approach to managing cyber risk by combining insurance, threat intelligence, security expertise, and AI-driven predictive modeling tools. This provides customers with an unmatched ability to achieve true resilience in the face of increasingly sophisticated cyber threats.We are looking for a Principal Product Designer who can balance the “big picture” with a keen attention to detail. You should be adept at collaboration, exploration, and have a commitment to UX craft and visual design. As a key member of our small, growing team, you will support user, stakeholder, and expert conversations, deliver insights and ideas, build consensus around product vision, prototype and test concepts, and design and ship impactful products for our customers and business.We specifically require a designer with experience working in an agile, startup environment. You will be responsible for delivering rapid prototypes to define and market-test new, technically complex product offerings that provide clear business value to a diverse range of customers.We strive to maintain a team atmosphere that is thoughtful, action-oriented, passionate about our work, easygoing, and positive. We prioritize agility and flexibility, essential for thriving in the ever-evolving startup environment where continuous learning and adaptation are key.This is a hybrid position located in one of our office: New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Baltimore.Responsibilities:

Actively contribute creative, strategic ideas.Creating quick, iterative, interactive prototypes.Create impactful tools and content for business users, overseeing the process from initial concept to delivery and continuous optimization.Meticulously design and produce a wide range of creative deliverables required for leading products, including user journeys, flows, maps, wireframes, UX, and UI elements.Assist in advancing and refining our design systems.Create data visualization techniques to transform complex data into clear and useful insights for various users.Support the engineering team in shipping new features.Adhere to deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Qualifications:

5+ years of professional in-house experience in the field of digital product design.Advanced proficiency with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Google Suite (Docs, Slides, and Sheets).Experience with, and understanding of Lean-Startup principles and working as part of scrum teams.Ability to plan and execute research, analysis, ideation, and prototyping.Experience delivering UX and visual design documents, including: site maps, user journeys, site flows, Information Architecture (IA), wireframes, UI, design systems and libraries.Experience presenting creative ideas to internal teams.Capacity to multitask while being extremely organized, productive, timely, and reliable.Aptitude for synthesizing constructive feedback into designs while still maintaining a strong, cohesive vision.Proven ability to independently lead projects from inception to completion. Ability to work independently on projects from initial stages to completion.Effectively takes direction and demonstrates initiative.Experience with Data Visualization - including infographics and data-based journalism - is a plus.BA in Visual Arts, Graphic Design, Digital Media Design, Interactive Design or an equivalent combination of training and design experience is highly preferred. Post-graduate training is appreciated, but not required.$140,000 - $190,000 a year Depending on experience.
