We are looking to add a Director of Marketing to our stellar team at USA Hometown Experts!We're looking for a marketing pro for our Memphis office with experience in the home services sector ~ HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical and Overhead Door ~ serving residential and commercial customers. Must have strong credentials in search engine optimization and pay-per-click strategy and analysis, plus the ability to build social media momentum. The successful candidate will be a perfect balance of strategic and tactical abilities.The ideal candidate will work onsite in our Memphis office, but we are willing to consider highly qualified remote candidates willing to travel.At USA Hometown Experts, we're proud of the services we provide for our valued customers. We're looking for a highly skilled marketing director to help us promote our offerings and identify what consumers want so we can create and capture more demand to meet their needs and accelerate growth.The ideal candidate will have extensive marketing experience and comprehensive knowledge of branding. This person must be able to cultivate and successfully manage relationships with multiple third-party marketing firms. Benchmarking and evaluating marketing performance and making strategic decisions will be essential in this role. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of enhancing marketing performance with measurable ROI, increasing efficiencies, and reporting on and reducing costs per lead.The role also requires a deep understanding of what makes people tick, as well as a drive to deliver solutions that make a difference, drive demand and accelerate growth in a constantly changing environment.Objectives:Collaborate with business team to fine tune and optimize their marketing investments to generate the highest returns with a large focus on digital marketing channels.Oversee and grow the marketing department by identifying revenue opportunities to increase our return on current marketing investmentsIdentify short- and long-term scheduling and resource needs, including development and management of annual marketing budget, profit-and-loss projections, and expendituresUnderstand key performance metrics and tracking tools for market research, forecasts, competitor analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends, and translate results into actionable insights for marketing teamPrimary Responsibilities:Review current marketing campaigns to assess strengths/weaknesses.Develop results-driven marketing strategies across social channels.Manage all marketing programs within budget constraints.Analyze website traffic and click-to-purchase conversion rates. Help senior management understand promotion effectiveness to determine what drives sales.Bring fresh advertising ideas to senior management.Lead development of marketing strategy by working closely with business partners, managers, creatives, content providers, and distribution partners to create effective plans focused on growing the audience for our products and servicesSpearhead the execution of marketing campaigns, including test and control group segmentation, testing, tracking, results reporting, analyses, and recommendationsManage conception, development, and implementation of marketing plans and strategy, product concepts, and promotional programs to drive customer interest and salesConduct meetings regularly with business line managers to review pipeline, resolve challenges, and brainstorm possible solutions, and provide training to ensure team is consistently performing above standardRequires occasional travel to attend in person meetings with local office management teams.Qualifications:Strong knowledge of marketing-related business practices in the home service sector (digital advertising, market research, search engine optimization and website technology).Possess a good command of budget/ROI success.Proficient with marketing-related software/website programs.Effective communication skills and adaptable communication style for interacting with team members, upper management and business line managers.Successful track record in senior marketing role and campaign creationExcellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skillsExperience in digital and print marketing, content marketing, and social media marketingProven ability to plan and manage budgetsBachelor's degree (or equivalent) in marketing, advertising, or communicationsProficiency with HTML, content management systems, and design softwareEstablished roster of media and PR contactsDesire to grow professionally through ongoing educationMust possess a valid driver's license and be able to meet policy requirements for driving on company businessPhysical Requirements:Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to occasionally lift 15 poundsMust be able to access and navigate each department at the our facilities.USA Hometown Experts
