Description: We are looking for a detail-oriented technical graphic designer who enjoys developing complex information into accurate visual representations. This individual will work directly with our proposal team to support pursuit of new business contracts. Effective knowledge, experience, and understanding of Microsoft and Adobe tools to produce and integrate graphics is required.

The successful candidate may also work on graphic presentations (that communicate mood, emphasis, insight, viewpoint, and similar visual impressions). The role includes responsibility and/or input on reproduction and printing processes through in-house resources or outside vendors to ensure quality standards comply with client's/printer technical specifications.

Due to the nature of the work, this position is required to be in Fort Worth, TX and will require time in the office 50% or more of the time. This position may require occasional travel. This position may require occasional overtime to meet customer deadlines.

Portfolio demonstrating solid technical graphic design capabilities, understanding color, fonts, visual emphasis and print design, and an understanding of Microsoft and Adobe software is required prior to interview.

Basic Qualifications:

Experience with Microsoft Office to include Power Point and Word.

Experience with translating complex graphical ideas and converting them to simple, readable, graphics.

Experience communicating with customers to understand and meet their needs.

Desired Skills:

Experience with proposal or technical graphics / illustrations including workflow, software and best practices.

Experience working in the defense industry.

Experience working in Adobe Software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat.

Experience working in a fast paced and dynamic environment with multiple deadlines.

Experience working and communicating with a team.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
