We’re looking for a Technology Data & Reporting Analyst to join a Midwest-based company. A leading financial company is the country’s largest lending-exclusive financial company, proudly serving millions of customers with safe, affordable, and transparent installment loans.

In this role, you will be part of a project aimed at enhancing the company's technology performance and driving business success through data analytics and reporting. You will work closely with Technology peers to identify key metrics, develop data models, and create real-time visualizations to support decision-making processes. This project focuses on leveraging data to improve customer experiences and operational efficiency.

This role offers a hybrid work arrangement with remote flexibility, requiring onsite work 2 days per week at the HQ in Evansville, IN. The position has the potential for extension or conversion to full-time employment for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with Technology peers to identify key metrics to measure and communicate performance.

Extract, filter, and aggregate data through tools, queries, and basic programming.

Ensure real-time availability of captured data, models, metrics, and charts/dashboards.

Develop and present data visualizations (tables, charts, graphs, heat maps) for key stakeholders.

Identify correlations, patterns, and trends; transform data into comprehensible structures.

Perform statistical analysis and solve challenging analytical problems.

Define requirements for additional data capture in logs/databases/warehouses.

Prepare relevant data sources and decompose high-level business needs into functional requirements.

Communicate results to managers and provide suggestions based on findings.

Maintain high standards, professional demeanor, and build strong cross-functional relationships.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

2+ years of experience in data analytics or data science.

Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools.

Familiarity with data structures, big-data concepts, cloud computing, and open-source tools.

Ability to create clear and engaging presentations and reports.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products and Office365 tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, PowerBI).

Working knowledge of ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM) Application.

Analytical mindset and ability to grasp complex topics.

Effective facilitator.

Basic understanding of applications and infrastructure technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

1+ years of work experience within the Financial Services sector.

Thorough understanding of ITIL/ITSM processes / ITIL v3 or v4 Foundations Certification.

Working knowledge of Snowflake or similar data warehouse architecture.
