We're currently searching for an experienced Director of Marketing to help drive our marketing initiatives, maintain our systems, and develop new talent. This position will report to the Chief Marketing Officer and is an on-site position in our office in Bethesda, Maryland.Overview:This role is responsible for driving our production calendar, including communications, social, and ad deployment, and successfully configuring, deploying and managing our internal HubSpot CRM system.Success in this role looks like: partnering with the marketing team to ensure timely and high-quality client strategy completion, efficient working and managing project processes, upskilling to address skill gaps and meeting/exceeding stretch goals, and providing key insights on KPIs.Responsibilities:Lead development of marketing strategy by working closely with CMO, creatives, event and sales teams to create effective plans focused on growing the audience for our products and services.Spearhead the execution of marketing campaigns, including testing, tracking, results reporting, analyses, and recommendations.Configure, deploy and customize HubSpot to meet our specific business needs. Ensure data integrity by implementing best data management practices. Create and manage user roles and permissions and ensure data security.Conduct weekly meetings to review pipeline, resolve challenges, and brainstorm possible solutions, and provide training to ensure team is consistently performing above standard.Integration and Systems:Integrate HubSpot with other systems and tools, ensuring seamless data flow and alignment.Set up workflows and automation processes to improve team efficiency and lead nurturing processes.Oversee setup and execution of third part communications tools, including email, ad, and social tools.Reporting and KPIs:Build custom reports and dashboards to provide insights into sales and marketing performance.Continuously analyze CRM data to identify trends, insights and areas of improvement.Training and Support:Work alongside CMO to develop and train new talent within the marketing team, providing guidance role specific responsibilities, the wealth management industry, compliance, and project management.Train new users on HubSpot and provide continuous training as the system evolves.Serve as the first point of contact for any CRM-related issues, troubleshooting and resolving them promptly.Continuous Improvement:Regularly review Potomac's platform agreements and selling opportunities.Follow industry evolution and trends.Stay updated with HubSpot features and updates, while providing recommendations for CRM enhancements and integrations to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness.Objectives of this role:Identify short- and long-term scheduling and resource needs.Understand key performance metrics and tracking tools for market research, forecasts, competitor analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends, and translate results into actionable insights for marketing team.Required skills and qualifications:Successful track record in marketing role and campaign execution.Excellent written and verbal communication and decision-making skills.Experience in digital and print marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing.Preferred skills and qualificationsBachelor's degree (or equivalent) in marketing, advertising, or communications.Proficiency with Hubspot, LinkedIn Ads, various communication tools, and design softwareEstablished roster of media and PR contacts.Desire to grow professionally through ongoing education.Benefits:401(k) & other retirement benefitsDental InsuranceFlexible scheduleHealth insuranceHealth savings account optionPaid time offParental leaveAnnual Company RetreatsWork location: On-site in Bethesda, Maryland
